The spun, which the cloth is composed of, is a star-shaped bicomponent microfibre nearly equivalent for number of slavers, but with a final result of 80% polyester 20% polymide (nylon). This is due to the different thickness of the two raw material woven together for making the thread, which is composed of 12 bicomponent ends.

Polymide and polyester are 12 slavers for each microfiber end, 5 polymide and 7 polyester. The thread is composed of 128 microfiber ends. The 5 polymide slavers are approx. 0,01 DTEX thick. The 7 polyester slavers are approx. 0,04 DTEX thick.

This is why the result is composition 80% PL 20% PA, even if the number of slavers is nearly equivalent.

After weaving, a special highly technological manufacturing allows opening like a book page, so the two components are separated. Each single thread can be seen in all its complicated structure with an electronic microscope.

Each thread is composed of 1536 slavers (128x12). 640 are polymide and 896 are polyester. They are star-shaped, which allows an innovative and revolutionary abrasive effect, so that our cloth can eliminate dirt residues of 0,5 micron.
For example, 1 gr. of microfiber ends is equivalent to approx. 12 Km of thread.
